Be My Valentine, the Making a Valentine Card

Mixed Media Valentine Card for my Husband

Using my Flip, Flaps & Fold-outs ideas that I will be teaching at the CREATE in Irvine, CA I created this Valentine card for my husband.  I used a shipping label from the office supply store, gesso, watercolor paints, gold gesso, ribbon and some stamps.  I hope he likes this better than a store bought valentine.  Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone!

  1. I hope he liked it. It looks nice and shows you care. I made my husband a little heart mobile to hang over his desk. I think they appreciate the handmade cards over the store bought. At least I hope so!
