As the leaves turn into marvelous shades of crimson and gold, I am already preparing for my watercolor painting workshop in Limoux, France, June 6-20, 2026! I am looking through my portfolio of watercolor journals dating back to 1991 and picking out my favorite page designs, subjects to paint, techniques that I have made up and techniques that I have learned from fellow artists. spend three days imagining we are on vacation painting our way through
the warm Tuscan sunshine. With a few watercolors and art supplies, you
will be ready to capture memories of your imaginary journeys colorfully
and uniquely. You will create a lasting memory of your travel adventures
by painting watercolor paintings and adding mixed media. All levels are

Journey into the world of color with watercolor specialist, Jacqueline Newbold.  Using watercolor as the medium, you will learn the secrets of mixing colors to create vibrant watercolors and control dull lifeless areas in your work. With a deeper understanding of the relationships between colors you will be painting with confidence. This is a relaxing and fun time to explore what works and what does not work with watercolor paintings.
All your colorful studies will be done on Arches 140 lb. paper and can be bound into your very own 5” x 8” spiral wire book.  Fitting easily into your supply bag, it will become an important color reference in your artistic journeys.
